Me and my personality...

Who am I?

I am an independent, young woman with a fun loving personality. I enjoy a variety of activities such as reading, drawing, walking the dog, family camping trips, football and basketball.

Due to my recent and on going performing arts teaching experience for the under 7s age group, I have developed my professionalism. The experience is also allowing me to continuously grow in motivation, organisation and focus. It has increased my caring and understanding nature and skills to be analytical.

Why am I in the industry?

My dance training began at a young age. The first styles of dance that I encountered were ballet, tap and jazz. I am currently studying RAD intermediate ballet and imperial grade 6 ballet. I have graded in modern theatre and tap from pre-syllabus to grade 6 modern and grade 5 tap.

I began drama lessons in 2009 at school, although slightly different than what I have learnt on my current course, I have still been able to take a lot away from the experience.

I have been extremely lucky in life and have been given opportunities to perform in various theatres across England and Spain (due to me living there for 5 years) including the Royal Albert Hall and Los Rojales theatre. As well as theatres, I have performed in places such as Orihuela Costa Resort (Hotel) and Leeds town centre. In 2008 I performed in the Pride of Spain Awards which was also recorded for TV purposes and in July 2014, I travelled to Portugal with Right Hook Physical Theatre Company from Leeds to learn and record some physical theatre choreography with some Portuguese students from a local school. I remember my first time on stage suprisingly well; I was around 4 years old and it was for a competition. I performed a short and simple ballet dance to the nursery ryhme 'Little Bo Peep'.

The performing arts has been my source of challenge, inspiration, dedication, love and life for so many years. The more I do, the more I learn; the more I learn, the more I want to learn.
